Travel, Transportation, and Parking
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. NWACC will reimburse travel expenses for one participant from each member institution. Reimbursement requests should be submitted within 21 days of the event and require receipts. (Review our travel policy here.)
The MAX light rail provides service from the airport and the Amtrak Station to the hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket kiosk at each MAX stop (NWACC will reimburse you for the expense). The Red Line (direct from the airport) stops 4 blocks from the hotel. If you prefer, you can transfer to the Yellow or Green line at the Rose Quarter Transit Center. These lines stop at SW 5th and Oak St, half a block from the hotel.
Hotel parking for overnight guests is valet-only and will be billed directly to NWACC. Participants driving in each day should park at the Smart Park garage at SW 3rd and SW Alder St.
Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided, as well as a reception with drinks and hors d'oeuvres on Oct 18. Dietary preferences or restrictions may be noted on the registration form.
