A three-day workshop on network security techniques and strategies

Location and Lodging: The workshop will be held at Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront, centrally located in downtown Portland. Hotel costs will be paid directly by NWACC for up to three nights (arriving on Oct 1 and departing on Oct 4). If you request hotel accommodations at registration, your reservation will be made for you and you will receive your confirmation number via email.

If you have questions about your registration or need to make a change, contact Molly at molly@nwacc.org; please do not contact the hotel directly. Attendees will need to present a credit card at check-in to cover incidental costs.

Travel, Transportation, and Parking: Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. NWACC will reimburse travel expenses for all attendees. Reimbursement requests should be submitted within 21 days of the event and require receipts.

The hotel does not provide transportation to/from the airport, so you will need to make your own arrangements for a shuttle (Blue Star Shuttle) or take a taxi or the MAX light rail red line. The closest MAX light rail stop is roughly 10 blocks from the hotel. Tickets are $2.40 and can be purchased at the airport MAX ticket kiosk (NWACC will reimburse you for the expense). Simply board the City Center-bound red line train at the airport (it's the only one), and debark at the Morrison/SW 3rd Ave station. Walk 10 blocks south to the hotel.

Participants staying at the hotel should use the hotel parking service (it's valet only). Hotel parking charges will be billed directly to NWACC. Participants driving in each day should park at the SmartPark lot at SW 1st and Jefferson (2 blocks from the hotel). Save your receipts and include the charges on your travel reimbursement request.

Food Service: Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided, as well as dinner on Oct 2. Dietary preferences or restrictions may be noted on the registration form.
