Network Security Workshop 2010

A three-day workshop on networ security techniques and strategies, including a review and discussion of the results of Accudata's network vulnerability tests, will be held in Portland, Oregon (for NWACC member institutions only).

Dates: October 5-7, 2010 (the program will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Oct. 5 and end at 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 7)

Location, Directions, and Transportation: The workshop will be held at George Fox University Portland Center, located at 12753 SW 68th Ave, Portland, OR. Click here for driving directions from the hotel (Lake Oswego Fairfield Inn & Suites). Please arrange for your own ground transportation to and from the Portland airport.

Shuttle service is available for participants staying at the hotel. The shuttle schedule is:

Tues, Oct 5 and Wed, Oct 6: Shuttle departs hotel at 7:45 a.m.; shuttle departs GFPC at 4:45 p.m.

Thur, Oct 7: Shuttle departs hotel at 7:45 a.m.
Note - There is no return service to the hotel on Thursday. Please arrange for your ground transportation to the Portland airport from the workshop site.

Travel Reimbursements: Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. NWACC will reimburse travel expenses for all attendees. Reimbursement requests should be submitted within 21 days of the event and require original receipts.

Lodging:
If you requested hotel accommodations at registration, your reservation has been made for you at the Lake Oswego Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites and you will receive your confirmation number via email. Hotel costs will be paid directly by NWACC for up to three nights (arriving on Oct 4 and departing on Oct 7). If you have questions about your registration or need to make a change, contact Molly at office@nwacc.org; please do not contact the hotel directly. Attendees will need to present a credit card at check-in to cover incidental costs.

Food Service: Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Dietary preferences or restrictions may be noted on the web registration form.
