Network Security Workshop

A three-day workshop on network security techniques and strategies will be held in Portland. Registration is now closed.

Dates: October 9-11, 2007, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Workshop size: One staff member per NWACC institution may register on a first-come first-served basis. Additional seats may be available after the registration deadline via a waiting list.

Questionnaire: As soon as you have registered, please download this brief questionnaire, fill it out, and email it to: office@nwacc.org.

Food Service:
Continental breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Dietary preferences may be requested on the web registration form.

Location and Directions: The Portland workshop will be held at George Fox University Portland Center (Room 235), located at 12753 SW 68th Ave, Portland, OR. Click here for driving directions from the hotel, Fairfield Inn & Suites. A shuttle will be provided between the hotel and the workshop venue.

Workshop Fee: The fee of $1,995 per person will be covered directly by NWACC for all workshop participants.

Lodging: Room costs at the workshop hotel will be covered directly by NWACC for up to 4 nights, though participants need to make their own reservations. Attendees will need to present a credit card at check-in to cover incidental costs. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Lake Oswego Fairfield Inn & Suites. To make your reservation, please call 503-670-7557 and mention that you are with the George Fox group block (rooms are reserved for the nights of October 8-11). Please reserve your room by August 31.

Travel Reimbursements: Attendees traveling to workshops from 75 to 200 miles away (one way) are eligible for a travel reimbursement of up to $100. Attendees traveling from more than 200 miles away are eligible for reimbursement to a maximum of $300. Reimbursement requests need to be submitted within 14 days of the event and require original receipts.
