Agenda:

The agenda is posted here. This year's Roundtable will overlap with a one-day workshop on Accessibility and Universal Design. The agendas will share a plenary and one breakout session on the morning of Friday, Nov 8. Roundtable participants are invited to stay for additional Accessiblity sessions on Friday afternoon, and should indicate their participation on the registration form.

Award for Innovation in Instructional Technology: A component of NWACC;s Instructional Technology program, the Award for Innovation in Instructional Technology recognizes instructional technologists and faculty members at NWACC member institutions for work demonstrating effective design, development, integration, and/or support of instructional technology. Through this annual award, we hope to share proven strategies and inspire new ideas in the integration of technology with teaching and learning.

To facilitate this, recipients present their work and host a plenary session at the Instructional Technology Roundtable. Winners receive a $500 cash award. Applications are due by October 7, 2019.

Workshop Attendance and Cost:

Instructional technologists, librarians, and others from NWACC member institutions who assist faculty, students, and staff in making effective use of educational technologies are welcome to participate in this roundtable. Two seats at the workshop are guaranteed for each NWACC member institution. Unclaimed seats will be alotted on a first come, first served basis after October 11. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, contact Molly.

NWACC will subsidize the registration, hotel, and travel costs for all participants.

Hotel:

If you requested a hotel reservation at registration, your reservation will be made for you and you will receive a confirmation number via email prior to the conference. NWACC will cover hotel costs directly.

Travel and Ground Transportation:

Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Travel expense reimbursement requests should be submitted within 21 days of the event and require receipts/documentation (electronic copies are acceptable).

The MAX light rail provides service from the airport and the Amtrak Station to the hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the MAX ticket kiosk (NWACC will reimburse you for the expense)

Parking:

Hotel parking for overnight guests is valet-only and will be billed directly to NWACC. Participants driving in each day should park at the Smart Park garage at SW 3rd and SW Alder St (NWACC will reimburse you for the expense).

Meals:

NWACC will provide dinner on Nov 6; breakfast, lunch, and snacks on Nov 7; and breakfast and lunch on Nov 8. NWACC will reimburse dinner expenses on Nov 7.
