Keynote Speaker: Michael Caulfield, Director of Blended and Networked Learning, Washington State University Vancouver - Federated Education: How New Models of Cooperation will Revolutionize Learning
The Roundtable will begin with a reception and dinner at 5:30pm on November 5 and will adjourn at noon on November 7.
Workshop Attendance and Cost: Information technologists, librarians, and others from NWACC member institutions who assist faculty, students, and staff in making effective use of educational technologies are welcome to participate in this roundtable. Attendance is limited to 50 participants. NWACC will subsidize the registration, hotel, and travel costs for all participants.
NWACC will cover hotel costs directly. Participants should submit a reimbursement request for their travel expenses (see below).
Registration: Registration is closed. If you have a question about your registration, contact Molly.
Travel and Ground Transportation: Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Reimbursement requests should be submitted within 21 days of the event and require receipts. For mileage reimbursements, the only documentation required is your starting address, for distance verification.
The MAX light rail provides service from the airport and the Amtrak Station to the hotel. Tickets are $2.50 and can be purchased at the airport MAX ticket kiosk (NWACC will reimburse you for the expense). The Red Line (direct from the airport) stops 4 blocks from the hotel. If you prefer, you can transfer to the Yellow or Green line at the Rose Quarter Transit Center. These lines stop at SW 5th and Oak St, directly by the hotel.
Parking: Hotel parking for overnight guests is valet-only and will be billed directly to NWACC. Participants driving in each day should park at the Smart Park garage at SW 3rd and SW Alder St.
Meals: NWACC will provide dinner on Nov 5; breakfast, lunch, and snacks on Nov 6; and breakfast on Nov 7. NWACC will reimburse dinner expenses on Nov 6.
