Director of College Relations Information Systems
 
Reed College invites applications and nominations for the Director of College Relations Information Systems. Located in Portland, Oregon, Reed College is a highly selective liberals arts college renowned for its demanding and challenging educational experience.
 
Reporting to the Vice President for College Relations, the director will provide strategic and operational direction to the information services support areas of college relations; oversight of information databases; analysis of info needs, use, and access; preparation of specifications for reporting and programming. Works with college relations and administrative computing staff in developing strategies, short and long-range plans; analyzes current directions and priorities, including capabilities and standards for software, hardware and other info systems in support of college relations; conducts needs assessments; prepares reports and statistics.
 
Successful candidate must possess a BA and 5 years of progressively responsible positions in business systems analysis and implementation, including 2 years supervisory experience. Qualified candidate will demonstrate management skills; expertise in complex info systems and electronic databases in multi-user, networked environment. Experience with development of user front-end applications, including web-based tools, report-writing tools and batch processing; ability to analyze, manage, plan, and implement projects over the course of an application life cycle. Knowledge of SCT Banner products and systems preferred. Knowledge of higher education fundraising and alumni relations preferred.
